“I will plant her for myself in the land; I will show my love to the one I called ‘Not my loved one. I will say to those called ‘Not my people, ‘You are my people ’; and they will say, ‘You are my God .’”

Hosea 2:23

God will rescue His Beloved from the clutches of evil people and from their own sin. Surely this is true salvation of the human soul. God will cleanse us and lift us out of our sin and destitution and elevate us higher than we could even dream of. 

He says He will give us a land of our own, not just a place in heaven, but a place in this world where we truly live and move and have our being. We have not been His people, but now we are because, of who our Saviour is in Himself. He is able to save and He will. We cannot save ourselves, because we have fallen so low. But He is able who promised.

God calls us “His people.” What a privilege, for so we are. No one can touch us. It doesn’t matter about the gossips, the patronising, the belittlers- we are queens and priests to God. He has a plan for us and a destiny that no one can take away. We reject the emotional and spiritual blackmail that is pressed on us, and throw of the filthy robes of oppression and walk free. 

Your loving Master and Friend will never leave you or forsake you in trouble or delight. He means all for good for you personally. Trust in Him, you His saints.

You will know you belong to Him, because you will say “You and my God..” you will love Him with every part of your being. Everything will be on the altar of sacrifice and you will rejoice with joy unspeakable.

What a God we belong to. There is no one like Him, or even comes close, so don’t bother looking. Just rejoice today and every day. Nothing can go wrong, as we follow and obey. What Liberty! Do not be enslaved by the chains of bondage ever again. “Come, Lord Jesus…”
