“I will cleanse their blood, that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwells in Zion.”

The people of God will be completely cleaned for their remaining taint and daily fight with sin at that time of the full redemption of their body, mind and soul. All the remaining difficulties with sin and self will pass away and they will be made perfect in the Lord. They are the redeemed people, bought with the precious blood of Christ and now made perfect in the heavenly kingdom. This will be the relief and glory of the saints of God- that their sin is finally and forever purged away and they are free from the cloying effects on their souls. They will be set free from it. The victory of the cross of Christ will now have its full effects and the souls of His people will be set free.

God will do this because this is the full intent of His purposes in salvation. To bring to pass a holy people, for His names sake and for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ who died for them. As the Lord dwells in Zion, so will they, in full vigour and in the power of the Holy Spirit of God.

Beloved, the root and cause of sin will finally be dealt with and put away from the psyche of the people of the Lord and they will be holy through and through. This is the destiny of all who love the Lord and His commandments. We will be free and be able to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness forever. All who love the LORD love this.

“Seek the LORD while he may be found; call you on him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to The LORD and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
