“The four angels were freed who had been prepared for that hour and day and month and year, so that they might kill one third of mankind.”

“They didn’t repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their sexual immorality, nor of their thefts.”

Revelation 9:15 and 21

The sixth trumpet sounds and a voice from the golden altar of incense sounds. It is the altar that represents the prayers of Christ for His people and is made for perpetuity. It is four square representing the heavenly Jerusalem that comes down from God, the people of God. Christ still intercedes for His people though all these cataclysmic events that affect humankind. The voice heard is the voice of Christ giving the command to the four angels at the great river Euphrates.

“After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree.”

Revelation 7:1

The forces that are unleashed by these representational angels, are a great army, the army that will be mustered against the forces of God and His people. They are mighty and set out to fight and kill a third of mankind. Their appearance is like modern warfare and will take out a huge number of the earths population. The timing is in the hands and power of God and the duration for these events.

It could also be a great plague at the end time that is propagated but he lack of fresh air and dooms one third of humankind to sickness and death. it os the “army” of judgment on the wickedness of humankind at the end times.

This army has the colours of fire and brimstone, denoting the judgment of God on the people of earth, and designed to inflict horror and fear on those who oppose them. The description of the armies sound like modern warfare with modern machines of war to destroy and kill people. The tails of false religion are cunning and vindictive and seek to deceive the inhabitant of earth and cause blindness of soul and mind. This hurts humankind badly and plunges the mind into darkness and false hope in a false religion. The people are duped by error and falsehood and kept away from the truth of God by all kinds of false religious teachings. It is often hidden in church traditions and culture that gives an impression of goodness but denies the power of God.

The people of God are not harmed because they have the mark of God on their foreheads and are kept by the power of God. The Holy Spirit and the Word of God keeps them from false religion and they are faithful to their heavenly calling in Christ. They are kept safe from the fear and sting of hatred and falsehoods.

The rest of the unbelieving humankind are reinforced in their rebellion against the Lord and remain unrepentant of their sinful ways. They do not give up their idols, which can never help them because they are only “things” and “idolised women and men” and not God. The unrepentant look to other false gods and find only the sting of death in the tail.

“They have hands, but they don’t feel. They have feet, but they don’t walk, neither do they speak through their throat. Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.”

Psalm 115:7-8

The evil of Western false religion to perpetrate and perpetuate the works of darkness and benefit by them is now well documented. People are duped by the show of religion and want its seeming civilising nature, but it is false. It hides its intentions and benefits from the work of ordinary people and takes for itself. The human culture is one of growing darkness and depravity and signals the end of all things.

“The elder and the honourable man is the head, and the prophet who teaches lies is the tail. For those who lead this people lead them astray; and those who are led by them are destroyed.”

Isaiah 9:15-16

The people left after the war remain caught in falsehood and do not repent of their evil ways or relent from their evil deeds. There is a growing sense that something great is going to happen to deliver the people of God…
